Terms of Service
Eligibility
Vana is for adults only. You must be at least 18 to create an account, join the waitlist, use the Guide, or book a Vana weekend. By using Vana you confirm that you are 18 or over. We may ask you to verify your age and may suspend or close accounts where we reasonably believe this requirement is not met.
Bookings & payments
Applying for a weekend isn't a guarantee of a place; we put each group together by hand, and selection is at our discretion. Places are confirmed after a short review. A deposit of £750 (50% of the £1,500 price) secures your place. It's non-refundable, but transferable to a future Vana weekend if you cancel 30 or more days before. The balance of £750 is due four weeks (28 days) before the weekend. Prices are per guest, all-inclusive as described.
Cancellations & changes
If you cancel 30 or more days before the weekend, we'll transfer your deposit to a future weekend and refund any balance you've paid. Between 14 and 29 days before, we retain 50% of the total price. Within 13 days of the weekend, no refund is due. If Vana cancels a weekend for any reason, you'll receive either a full refund of all amounts paid or a place on a future weekend of equivalent value. Your choice.
Code of Conduct
All guests agree to our Code of Conduct. We may decline an application, or remove anyone whose behaviour or conduct puts the weekend or other guests at risk, without a refund.
Photography & imagery
Guests are welcome to take and share their own photos. Please be considerate of other guests' privacy, and don't post someone without asking. Vana may capture its own photography and film; let us know at hello@vanalondon.com if you'd prefer not to appear.
Liability
We work with vetted suppliers and hold appropriate insurance. Some activities carry inherent risk; you take part at your own discretion. A Vana weekend is a residential weekend for adults. We cater for dietary and medical needs you tell us about, but it's your responsibility to declare them clearly and keep us updated.
Community content
Signed-in members can create content — profiles, handles, saved collections and notes — and connect with other members. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You must not post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that endangers or exploits anyone, and you must not misuse another member's content or identity. Every piece of user content and every profile can be reported from within the app, and you can block any member. We review reports and remove violating content, typically within 24 hours, and we suspend or permanently remove accounts that breach these terms. Our Child Safety Standards set out our approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation, which we prohibit absolutely.
