Vana London

Child Safety Standards

Effective date: 6 July 2026

Applies to Guide by Vana (com.vanalondon.guide) and vanalondon.com, operated by Vana London Ltd (company no. 16833118).

Our commitment

Vana London has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Protecting children is a fundamental responsibility. These standards set out what we prohibit, how anyone can report a concern, and how we respond.

Guide by Vana is an adults-only service intended for users aged 18 and over. We nonetheless maintain and publish these standards in full, and apply them to all content and conduct on our platform.

What we prohibit

The following are strictly prohibited on Guide by Vana and any Vana service, without exception:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, text, or links.

• Any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor.

• Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to make contact with a minor for sexual purposes.

• Sharing, requesting, or facilitating access to CSAE material, or directing others to it.

• Any other conduct that sexualises or endangers children.

Accounts found engaging in any of the above are removed immediately and permanently.

How to report a concern

In the app: every piece of user-generated content (collections, notes, member handles) and every member profile carries a Report control. Reports are submitted without leaving the app and reach our safety team directly. Members can also block any other user.

By email: anyone — user or not — can report a child-safety concern to our child-safety point of contact at hello@vanalondon.com.

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (in the UK, call 999).

How we respond

On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAE content or conduct, we will, in line with these standards and applicable law:

• Review the report promptly and remove violating content, typically within 24 hours.

• Disable and permanently remove the accounts involved.

• Preserve relevant evidence as required by law.

• Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with UK authorities, including the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and the National Crime Agency (NCA / CEOP), and with law enforcement as required.

Legal compliance

We comply with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC and to the relevant UK bodies, and to cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.

Child-safety point of contact

Vana London Ltd maintains a designated point of contact to receive child-safety notifications, including from Google Play, and to speak to our enforcement and review procedures:
